Lecture Participation
iClicker is used for most of Monday and Wednesday’s lectures. At the end of the semester, students have participated in 75% or more activities get 50 participation points in full. Students have participated in at least 50% get 25 points. No points will be given to individuals with less than 50% participation.
In other words, you may miss 25% of iClicker activities but still get the 50 points in full. The 25% allowance covers incidence such as illness, oversleeping, transportation issues, and any emergencies that may prevent you from attending classes. It also covers iClicker related issues such as dysfunctions, dead batteries, loss of iClicker, or accidently leaving it at home.
